A "Release" is a group of all the change log entries that have not yet been released. You can create a release at any time during your entries and as many releases as needed.
NOTE: If you want to enter old change log entries be sure to enter the oldest entries first and create release points along the way as needed. Remember that the most recent change log entries always appear at the top of the list.
To create a release, just click the Release button on the sub menu. Then you will see this screen:
The Last Release Version (if there is one) will be displayed and the new release date will default to TODAY.
Enter the release version as you want it to appear.
Note: Do NOT include the word "Release" as it will be added for you.
For example, if you enter 1.1.0 then the release header will be displayed as:
Note: If you do not enter a date then the header will be formatted to look like this:
Click Ok to create the release or Cancel to exit without creating it.
